Seedings and Power Rating.

The Champion from the same tournament the prior year is the top seed #1, and has an automatic Power Rating score of 100.

The reigning Serious Plaudits champion is Seed #2, and has an automatic Power Rating score of 99 (unless 1st in Current Rankings, All Time Leaderboard, and Win Ratio, to give a score of 100)

All other seeds are decided by the Power Rating, which is a combination of Power Rating points from Current Ranking position (can be seen on Rankings tab) from All Time Leaderboard position (can be seen on All Time Leaderboard tab) and from Win Ratio position (can be seen on Win Ratio and Points History tab)

There are a maximum of 35 Power Rating points available for Current Ranking, a maximum of 35 Power rating points available for All Time Leaderboard, and a maximum of 30 Power rating points available for Win Ratio. First place on these tables takes the highest PWR points, scaling down in points for lower positions. This can be seen in the first column on all three tabs.

A Player that has scored points in the past but not currently on the Current Rankings table receives the PWR points of one less than last place on the current rankings table, and if not yet recorded on the Win Ratio table then they start on the mid point of 15 until first tournament played gives them a current score.

A new player receives 1 Power rating point for each tournament played if they haven’t scoring any tournament points or won any matches to register on the Win Ratio table. (capped at 20)

Before each tournament the Power Ratings are updated on the Winner app, which then makes the random draw for the groups based on the Power Ratings to give fair and balanced groups.

If players are tied with the same PWR rating points then All Time Leaderboard position decides seeding position.
